Proactive Families Advocacy Inc. is a charitable 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Founded by parents who have personally experienced the child protection system, our organization is driven by a solid commitment to supporting the community. We operate independently and are not affiliated with the Department of Children and Families ("DCF"), nor are we legal professionals capable of providing legal advice.

Providing essential community and peer support in various critical areas, including but not limited to:

• Advocacy & Court Support: Assisting families in navigating the legal system and advocating for their rights.

• Domestic Violence: Offering support and wrap-around resources to individuals affected by domestic violence.

• Termination of Parental Rights: Providing guidance to families facing complex legal situations related to parental rights.

• Parental Alienation: Assisting families dealing with issues of parental alienation and its impact.

• Substance Abuse/Recovery: Offering help and resources to individuals struggling with substance abuse and supporting their recovery journey.

• Reunification: Facilitating the process of reuniting families after periods of separation.

• Child Support and Custody: Providing guidance and assistance regarding child support and custody matters.

• Appeals: Assisting families with the appeal process when facing legal decisions.

• Homelessness: Offering support to families experiencing homelessness and helping them access necessary resources.

Our team of dedicated parents, Peer-Parent Advocates, and volunteers strives to create a safe and nurturing environment where parents and families facing challenges can find understanding, guidance, and empowerment. Through our firsthand experiences and compassion, we aim to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need within our community.
